When preparing for my Spring AI course I stumbled across a documentary on AlphaGo.  Go is an ancient Chinese game that is considered one of the most difficult challenges for artificial intelligence.  It seems like old news for a computer to have the ability to beat a master chess player, but no computer has come close to beating a master Go player.  This documentary takes you through a journey with the team that has changed this perception.

I was so taken by the quality and excitement generated by this film that I now plan on introducing this into my lower-level courses.  This achievement by the DeepMind team is exciting in the field of AI, but I feel the treatment of their work in this movie can excite students both in and out of our field.  I encourage you all to take the time to watch this; the time will fly by as you do.
