It is coming the time of year that we would traditionally get a break from our studies and enjoy the warming weather. This year, at Ramapo at least, we are forgoing the traditional spring break and will be continuing on through May. While we did start a week late, the weight of this semester has been magnified with remote learning and other pandemic-related stresses.
Yes, we March on (I could not help myself), but we need to take mini-breaks to keep our spirits and effectiveness in optimal health. I encourage you to break your work up with many small breaks and set aside one day for mental and physical rest each week. It may seem overwhelming and you may feel like pressing hard is the only option, but sometimes stepping back and breathing will make you more productive and produce a higher quality of work (interesting read).
