I have been given the honor of being an Office of Specialized Services Honoree for a graduating senior from Ramapo College of New Jersey.  These are the awards that mean the most to me in my career as a student selected me for this honor.  This student stated that I was helpful in growing his skills and helped increase his confidence in his Computer Science abilities.  While I am thankful, this is not completely true.  This student did that himself, all I did was support him during this process.  

I am posting this because I feel it is important to remind students that faculty are in our positions because we care about our students and we want them all to develop and grow beyond what they may have thought possible.  Reach out to your faculty, talk with them, and ask them questions; they will be there for you.
